The first game in the Under World series tells the story of a love that will never die. Play as Ron in this heart-felt tale and see just how strong his passion for life and peace really are.

In this game, Ron battles an army of disastrous demons and enemies. Will he survive? Will he be able to protect everyone he's closest to from the grip of the Under World? It is all up to you. Be the hero and give the cursed world a happy ending.

This will be quite the different RPG experience for most. It is all action-based. So instead of telling your player what to do and watching him do just that, you must do it yourself. The battles are extremely challenging and intense. So everyone who is up for a good challenge--this game is for you. Not only that, but there is a very unique level up system, which will keep you excited for each chapter that you pass on by. Every chapter that you progress through, you get to level up.

Features:
-Unique level up system split into warrior and magician stats
-18 chapters of hack n' slash fun
-Incredible challenge for every intense gamer
-Unique potion-making system
-Interesting towns full of crazy people to talk to and exciting shops

***Warning: This game does not fool around. Honestly, there was a reason why I uploaded Under World 2 and 3, but not the first one. I've had enough people request to play the first one so I decided to upload it. It is a HARD game! If you're up for the challenge, enjoy...otherwise don't cry when you run into battle after battle where you're getting your clock cleaned. Play at your own risk!!

When you hit "spacebar" or "enter", do you hear a sound? If you do, the attack is working, actually. When you hit the button, you will gain a boost of speed, allowing you to slice forward into any enemies nearby. Or...to simply just navigate to places quicker. You need to press the direction that you want to slice, while hitting the attack button to see a result. If you've played UW2 and UW3, you'll understand how the battle system works a little better in this game.

Anyways, if you are hitting the attack button, and not even hearing a sound, that means the game is effed up, which...I'm not really sure how it could get that way since it has always worked for me just fine. If that's the case, maybe try to start the game over.

It does make a sound, ok i'll try that thanks. i'll go further in the game and tell you how i like it, maybe just "too hard"(condidering your description!)? hope not, anyways, thanks for the help and "à bientôt"!
Wow, I just tried this out for a few minutes and I'm really impressed! I haven't played many RM games with an ABS implemented, but of the ones I have, this is my favorite by far! Still difficult, but quite addictive. Very glad you uploaded this, and I'll be sure to be playing it for a while!

Awesome! Good luck! And actually, just FYI. The first chapters are actually pretty hard, then it simmers down a little bit, because you start upgrading your skills. I just realized this because I'm playing through it now, myself. Ha, it's been a while, actually. So yeah, if you can get through the first two chapters, it gets a tad less frustrating, I'll just say.

Glad you're enjoying it! I'm actually rather glad I uploaded the first game of the series too. It's actually not a terrible game, though I know there are MANY improvements I could have made. But that was seriously like 6 years ago, at least. Sooo, I think I can forgive myself for that. Haha
Whatever its flaws, the gameplay is what shines, and it jumps out at you immediately. I'll write a review when I'm done with it, as I feel this game deserves some attention here.

Glad you're enjoying! And yes, I warned everyone that this game was friggin' hard. Haha. Good luck with it.

ok i'm chapter 14 (no,i'didn't get there without cheating, sort of created my "normal mode" : possibility of saving at any time, loads of healing potions, etc, (can't seem to use the skills much ?) the problem with cheating, it sort of ruins the game : you're not really playing the game, if you see what i mean...?)
Anyways, wow; its a great game! really polished, complete, with a good story, which unveils very progressively, very moving and personal feelings of the main character, and, once again, and utmost, the striking originality and fun of the various item, skill and battle systems.
Its too bad no one's there to know, considering the difficulty. I would think, it wouldn't be too hard to turn it into an overall very enjoyable game? everything's there and much more than that! but maybe you don't want to go over it again, which i could perfectly understand. Great game!
Hmm, maybe if you released a second version with a toned down enemy count, calling them hard type and easy type? I actually really enjoy the difficulty right now, although I'm not nearly as far as chana is. Anyways, I'm still loving this!
This was honestly very unexpected to hear. That people are actually enjoying this... Hahaha, cool though! I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I got criticized to hell back when I created the game, about the story, and since then I've been trying to make more in-depth, original stories. I was never too confident in this game's story, but I'm really glad you're engaged in it. I mean, I actually really enjoy the emotion I put into it, but I know how cliche' some people would probably say it is...

And yeah, it would probably be a good idea to go back and fix a lot of things, or remake it even, but meh. I just wanna keep it as the imperfect "Under World 1", and whoever can beat it, wow...props! Haha. I just wanna move forward in my games, which is exactly what I'm doing. Leave the past in the past, and embrace the future!

I'm currently working on Under World 4 at the moment...and its turning out to be the most AMAZING project ever. I'm actually decently far. Your character is Daron, from Under World 2 again. You play his character as a demon and you live in the Under World, in a giant city called "Logic". And there will be TONS of exploration, in the actual underworld. The battles are even better.

Anyways, thanks for the support guys! :)
That's exciting, I'll be sure to play 2 and 3 when I finish this! Will UW4 be VX or XP again?

Alas vx (which graphics i definitely detest!i have a clear preference for rm2k3 in any case over any other!) and xp lag on my computer, but soon as i buy that motherboard for my "good" computer, i won't miss playing 2 and 3, and hopefully, soon, 4, sounds quite something!
Awesome! Yep, both 2 and 3 were done with XP, as well as 4 now. And honestly, I definitely prefer XP. I've tried VX and I just don't think its necessary to use. XP had amazing enough graphics, and you can do almost ANYTHING with it, program-wise. Besides, there are TONS of graphics already made for XP, as compared to almost none for VX. So I'll just stay with my XP.

And sbester, the games only get better, in my opinion. Under World 3 is my most proud project, by far. A friend of mine told me I could write a strategy guide for the game because its ridiculous how much work/effort I put into it. There are endless amounts of secrets to discover, quests to tackle, weapons/items/spells/shape changes to explore. The level up system turned out epic. Hope you enjoy 2 and 3 as much as this one, er...more. I definitely think the story turned out better in 2 and 3 as well. I'm very proud of 3's story and 2 definitely has its cliche moments as well, but it's still decent.

Anyways, enjoy the games! :)
Good to hear, I hate VX graphics too. I apologize for being so slow at beating this, but I'm getting there with a review to follow. I haven't cheated yet, so I'm pretty proud of that lol.

Haha awesome! And don't worry man, I'm in no hurry. I mean, I'm excited to read your review whenever you write it. And I'm totally happy that you'd even wanna write one. That alone is cool enough. Take as long as you need to take man.
Submitted my review!
Epic final battle in this game!
hey moam,

i really liked playing your game, but as you probally know
unfortunately there is a huge amount of bugs in the game.

I laughed, when i saw link from zelda, vampires dawn characters and heroes III avatar...

And i had a hard time in chapter 14,15,16 , because of the hard parts: invisible in chapter 14, traps in chapter 16, boss in chapter 16

in chapter 15 there was also something but i dont remember ;)

But all in all nice gameplay, nice story, nice game^^

I hate the bugs, but:
Thank you for it, anyways ;)
