A sanctuary of calm and relaxation This was our second stay in a waterside room. You feel instantly relaxed and calm as you enter the spacious reception and bar area. The rooms are small but are cleverly designed to provide you with everything you need without feeling cramped. The beds are very comfortable and the room temperature was just right for a great night's sleep. The restaurant menu is limited but was very good and we enjoyed drinks on roof terrace. The breakfast selection was really nice. The staff are brilliant - relaxed but very attentive and helpful. We love the ethos of this place and the good work the organisation does around the world - take some time to read about this in their literature. This is a gem of a place particularly if you are visiting the Excel or the O2 - the Excel is about 5 minutes walk and the cable car to the O2 is just a few minutes walk along the dock. If you come by car, try parking at the Excel and then walk to the hotel.

Great for ExCel Have stayed here once before, and find it very handy for the ExCel - I left it late to book, so it was expensive, but has everything you need and cannot fault it. Had to leave early so didn't get breakfast. Would book it again as location is excellent

Great place to stay Great place to stay, clean, stylish floating hotel. Great rooftop bar, close to places to eat and very close to cable car over to Greenwich and the O2. 10mins or so walk from the nearest tube (Custom House) near the Excel. Nothing not to like and would stay again, recommended.

Lovely chic hotel Lovely, chic hotel on the river - a stones throw from the O2 and the cable car that takes you there. Excellent service, small but comfortable rooms - shower and bathroom is fine although not big. Late back after a concert - the cable car stopped at 11 so a pain to get to via DLR / Canning Town but ok in the end. The bar overlooking the water is lovely for a sundowner - the whole hotel is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.

Fabulous Hotel Loved this gem of a hotel/boat. It was in a lovely area and so handy for central London, just 15 mins on the Elizabeth line but you felt you had some space. I stayed as was at an exhibition at Excel (5 mins walk from hotel) but I would stay here again if just coming to London for any other reason. Had a lovely ride on the cable cars and a meal at a local restaurant. Staff were so friendly and helpful and breakfast was amazing, as a vegan, I could eat lots! Best thing of all though are their ethics and the story about how the hotel came about and knowing that your hard earned cash is helping someone less fortunate and such a great social enterprise. Loved it and I will return.

Perfect if you are needing to visit somewhere local to here. Good hotel, clean room, basic, reflected in the cheap price. Would stay again if I needed to visit somewhere local to the area.

Misleading I got sucked in by the whole ‘do good’ thing, and the rooms are just not up to the level you expect from the pictures on the website. It looks cool, edgy, and good. The reality was incredibly small rooms that strike disappointment as soon as you enter. I ended up checking out 20 mins after checking in - I just could not stomach it. You can find better value hotels that offer a more refined product. At least I left knowing that my money had gone to a group generally attempting to make a positive impact.

Good Stay at the Good Hotel London First time stay at the Good Hotel London. A most enjoyable experience made all the better by the exceptional staff. The small but pleasant room with river views was nice and the Living Room area was a great space to relax.
